Twice a year, many talented craftswomen come together to create amazing works of art to benefit a selected charity. This year, the Fluff Factory has chosen Federazione Internationale di Appoggio Umano (The International Federation for Human Support). An Italian based charity, FIAU, has done great work world-wide, and our event will help them continue this work in South America. 

FIAU notes that 90% of their local volunteers in Indian and African nation projects are women. Even though they often face extreme discrimination, these women work and struggle to maintain their families and yet they also still have the energy to work to improve the lives of others. We, the women of Fluff Factory, understand this. We work from home to afford us the opportunity to be with our families. And we gather together twice a year to put our collective energies towards improving the global situation by donating proceeds of a series of auctions to a common cause. As mothers we know that we must be the ones who work to make this the world we want our children to live in.

Speaking with the Indian and African women who are volunteers in FIAU activities, it's clear that they have a huge sense of responsibility towards their own families as well as the whole community. We, the WAHMs of Fluff Factory, share that feeling, and we gratefully work together with the volunteers of FIAU to enrich each other's lives.
